This is a great headlight. I'm a dentist, and I use this light for operative, crown preps, surgical procedures, and even subgingival cleanings. The ability to change the light aperture from 2"-5" is a game changer because it increases tissue rendition and depth perception.
The XLT-125 is lightweight and really reduces fatigue. It can be used on top of any set of loupes or without loupes at all.
I highly recommend this light to anyone in medicine or dentistry.

This light works superbly. I had traditional xeon light. It had to be moved whenever I moved. This is much lighter, more comfortable and extremely convenient. I can mover to the opposite side of the bed much quicker. I use the light on the near lowest intensity (its bright). I bought two of the 4 cell batteries (there are 2 cell and 4 cell, I wanted the longest lasting battery) and even a single battery hasn't gone out yet with 8 hours of surgery. This light is expensive, but highly recommended.
